Grand Duchess Maria Teresa is very involved in humanitarian action. She is a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador in the fight against poverty, and since April 2007 the Grand Duchess has also been a UNICEF Eminent Advocate for Children and the president of the Luxembourg Red Cross.

This rosebush with elegant dark pink buds was named by H.R.H. the Grand Duchess Maria Teresa during the European Congress of the World Federation of Rose Societies in 2007 in Luxembourg. The pink flowers that are still closed and those that have already opened out, showing their gold stamens, offer a beautiful contrast throughout its flowering season. It has fresh green leaves. This plant enjoys a sunny and airy location.
